Automatic Timing Clock

A clock designed to record timing of events such as homing pigeon races and contests. Contained in a close fitting oak wood case with hinged lid secured by clasp and hook on a chain. Could provide protection during transport. Has a leather carrying handle (damaged). Clock serial number is 129071. In place of a clock face the item is fitted with circular paper disks or charts marked with 24 hours in one complete rotation.

Last used 18.9. 1997 (from data on two recording charts of type used in the clock). Made early to mid 20th century. Clock serial number is 129071.
