Photograph of David Brewer in circa 1941 - maker of the unfinished model yacht (see EMHT926.1) Model boat / yacht (not finished) with wood for mast etc, made by David Brewer. At age 18 David, joined the RAF and became a mid-upper gunner in a Lancaster Bomber. Sadly, in February 1944, at the age of 19, he was killed in a raid over Germany. David is buried in a war cemetery in Germany
